19. Catalburun
The Catalburun, a rare Turkish Pointer, is distinguished by its split nose, a unique trait among dogs. This feature impacts their scent but doesn’t hinder their hunting prowess. Celebrated in Turkey yet obscure elsewhere, they stand 20 to 24 inches and weigh 45 to 65 pounds. Used for hunting over generations, their liver and white short coat is low-maintenance.
