The Alaskan Klee Kai mirrors a tiny Siberian Husky and is a modern breed. Meaning "small dog," they’re more domesticated than Huskies. These spirited dogs crave activity, much like their larger kin. Developed in Alaska during the 1970s and 1980s as a companion-sized Husky, they range from toy to standard sizes, standing 13 to 17 inches tall. Despite their stature, they share Husky traits like facial masks and varied coat colors. Smart and vigilant, Alaskan Klee Kai make superb watchdogs. They may be reserved with strangers but bond deeply with family. They thrive on mental and physical tasks like agility and puzzles.
