4. Use as a deodorant

Due to its superior odor absorbing abilities, deodorant is another product that often incorporates baking soda. This is the same logic behind why some people keep an open box of the product in their bathrooms or freezers. It works thanks to its antibacterial qualities. While this process isn't completely stopped by baking soda, the final product is substantially less acidic and fragrant. In an emergency, try using it as a natural deodorant by dabbing it on your armpits.
