7. Soften calluses

Calluses are abrasive, rough patches of skin that develop where there is constant friction or pressure. For example, guitarists have recognizable calluses on their hands. Due to the constant pressure placed on them, calluses are also often found on the feet. Any sustained, repetitive activity has the potential to develop calluses where it impacts. Calluses are actually protective rather than harmful. However, if they are too strong or painful, you may choose to decrease or reduce them. This can also be helped by baking soda. Bathing in a baking soda solution helps relieve pain and soften calluses so they can be shaved off.
