BASIC Jump
BASE Jumping is a risky pastime that depends solely on the wind and a parachute. It involves jumping from stationary objects and descending to the ground with a parachute. It is banned in some US states, TIME says.
BASE stands for four categories of objects you can jump from: Building, Antenna, Span, and Earth. Participants jump from the structure and, after an optional free-fall delay, deploy a parachute to land, hopefully, safely.Continue reading below
